hahha that's true too, I mean I don't want to judge old Al too harshly, he's ok in my book, my point was you can't take him seriously. Let him have his fun and eat cake too.

I'm not saying he is a viable candidate...don't get your g string in a wad! ;)
He has clearly positioned himself in this race to gain more recognition and a by-product is that he can say some things that the "politicians" won't dare say...so, I see his presence as a good thing.

how did you knwow I wear g-strings? damn! ;) His presence is never a good thing except on joke shows like SNL.

i just realized how many of you are just completely ignorant. think before you speak. do your homework if you want to ace the test. go look up rev al's bio. involved with the civil rights movement since the 70's. and go look up his recent work with the national youth movement. the media butchers his standpoint and whenever he tries to speak up he is laughed at. thus, making the masses believe the same poopie doodoo that was fabricated. give this guy a listen. and if you still don't get it, you probably never will. yes, he has many flaws. but he gives a shit about his people and he does something about it. his views on current events are very insightful.

and now he is gonna make a fool of himself on SNL and won't be taken seriously by anyone anymore.

I heard him for the first time on the Democratic candidates debate, and he was the only one that seemed to believe in what he was saying.
Some say Bush is man of the People. Same with Al but at least Sharpton uses his brains...

did anyone see them make fun of him on the daily show... that colbert guy kept asking him about his hunger strike and how he got fat so quick again... it was pretty funny.

"I heard him for the first time on the Democratic candidates debate, and he was the only one that seemed to believe in what he was saying. "
...that's what I'm sayin...

Sharpton has some good observations of political hypocrisy. But he's part of the same hypocrisy. Never trust a reverend wearing a $1800 suit.
