Thanks rasko4, though may be a little advanced for me... any tuturials out there you would recommend? I'd like to create the content in Dreamweaver and then insert into Outlook 2000.

The general view on the web is yep, evil be lurking in HTML email (sorry watched Pirates of the Caribbean last night)

Keep your html-code simple
Fancy css is nice, but depending on your audience some mailprog don's understand it.
Create a text-only email for those who don't want to receive a html mail. Here you can always put a link to your newsletter

no just make a html page, absolutely link your images to your server and then copy/paste your html into an email... there are problems doing this with a mac, a solution is to put it on your server as a page and ask a PC user to send it to you as an email which you can the forward on.

Lotus Notes converts any image under 15 pixels to 15 Pixels. (So spacers don't work properly.)

usually none of our clients can afford IBM software so I never had to worry about it.
