they are all great. just decide what games you like then pick a system that suits. but ps2 is the old reliable.

I think its a question of Qunatity vs. Quality
I love my Gamecube...
Metroid, Super Mario, Zelda, are incredible games.. I've also heard great reviews from friends for Viewtiful Joe. $99 is a steal...The only thing the Gamecube doesn't have is Halo.. which incredible.. worth buying an X Box just for the game. X Box has some other great titles as well..
I;d ditch the PS2.. dont wanna start an argument, but the grophics seem weak comapred to others...and i hate those controllers.

Xbox - get it chipped and a new hard drive then download loads of games as a try before you buy
saves a fortune as there really are some hyped up games that are god awful out there on the xbox.
best game - SSX tricky or Vice City

graphics shmaphics. graphics aren't the sole ingredient for a fun game. and when puchasing a console, what matters is what has always mattered: the library of games... that's what makes a system. that said, when a substantial number of games don't live up to your graphical expectations, that doesn't mean that the consoles hardware is necessarily inferior, it just means that the 3rd party developers are 'stamping out' a title for a quick buck.
i personally went with both a ps2 and gamecube. the xbox just doen't have much that i'm interested in, except for ports that exist on the consoles i already own.

I have a PS2 but am jonesing a GC. It has one of my fav Nintendo titles of all time - F-Zero. And you cant beat $139 cdn. That said I still like my PS2. SOCOM is great and I cant wait for GT4.

so many games come out for all 3 together (orince of persia, true crime etc) so go for the exclusives you want, for me it was no contest: zelda & metroid are the best two games out in the past few years no question (IMHO) but if you want vice city then go for ps2, halo xbox etc

keep in mind what genres you like to play as well... not all systems get the same attention on certian types of games...
I am a big RPG fan... and I would have to say PS2 gets the most quality games in the RPG genre... gamecube has gotta be at the bottom.

I sold mine already... long time ago..Depending on the games you like your option is between ps2 or gc.

I love the GC! I also own a Gameboy Advance which I recomend to everyone. It is the best thing to have when you are waiting at the doctors office, on the bus, or doing anything else that requires waiting.
As for the GC I love Zelda: The Windwaker, MarioCart Double Dash, and Animal Crossing. I definately looove Nintendo... they are classic!

XBOX has ANTIALIASING
pretty big, IMHO.
Get the playstation 2.5 w/ the built-in dvd burner if you go ps2 route.

I have a gamecube and a ps2. I like the ps2 better, right wodn to the control pad. I got big hands and the analog stick on the gamecube keeps sliding off till I am driving it with my palm. No such issues with the ps2. And ps2 games get cheaper fast. I buy them once they're greatest hits editions.
I mostly bought the gamecube cause I'm abig resident evil freak. But gamecube is mostly great and made for kids I think.
