Also check out the number of machines polled, I'd say that's a pretty large sample.

It depends on your target audience. If a client wants something set at 800x600 then do it. If they give you freedom to work at 1024x768 and >. Then work your magik. To me, it depends on whom wants what. I work for a university and they want all their sites to work in 800x600 and >. No big deal.

this is why most web-designers are shit. they cant deal with the most minimal of issues - they start to freak and throw tantrums and shit. Id love to see you deal with the range of problems etc a product designer or design engineer deals with. your little face would explode.
