yes, Im sure the bigger companies benifit from students using pirate software, it gets them in young... kinda like giving a kid a credit card, once he overdraws, they have the kid for life.

what about open source software. i heard arguments that alot of people dont give it much eye, because they can just as easily get pirated software and if you absolutely HAD to pay for software, people would consider OSS ina different eye.

sexyp: what about borrowing until you can afford?
gotta admit s/w isn't cheap, but is somewhat essential for many things design related. If you are using it to make ££ then you should pay. If not... eh i dunno, my arguments shit anyway.

its all about your own morals. I have no problem using pirate software from bigger companies. I will always pay for the smaller apps.

i've never downloaded pirated sotware.... now if you're talking about soFtware. well, i'm taking the 5th on that one.

a) copying sequences of 0s and 1s from one piece of plastic to another is not stealing. Noone gets hurt and everyone benefits.
or
b) You should be ashamed, these poor programmers work their ass off to bring you wonderful applications. It's unspeakable that anyone would wanna rip them off.
