Mimio,
I don't think anyone just told him to charge 20k for 10 hours. Most gave their opinions as to why & how to justify.
Not giving an explanation of your own is also irresponsible.

UPDATE:
I usually don't kiss and tell, but I bidded $2000 and they accepted. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. I'll post when finished.

$2K that's it? hell no wonder they accepted, you should have asked for at least $10K

they werent gonna pay that much, they were only currently paying $1500 for the design with the agency they were using ( i got an inside scoop before i sent in my proposal )... they changed the scope of the project, so it is much simplier than previously stated...
all in all, i just want to get on as a vendor for them, could turn into a lot of work if all goes well
