Ya dont even deserve a illegal copy w/o the shortcuts if you dont see the benefits of CS.
Try using MS paint :P It FAST! and has all feutures you ever need :b

All copies support short cuts... you just either have to import your saved hotkeys from your previous version or remake them.
As for whether its a new machine or not, it does not matter. I've always had a super kilo-hurtin, mega-bytin' machine.

cs opens raw files. 7 doesnt without additional software like capture one or canon file browser... if you make flicks for a living like me, cs is kinda a necessary evil.
i have a wicked fast pc running cs as well as a powerbook. its lightning on the mac and pretty fast still on the pc. compared to 7, i cant really compare... i found 7 to ok on my machine, much better than previous versions, but you cant hate on cs.

Dude- there is ALOT more to CS than the file browser...
- layer comps
- layer folders in layer folders
- RAW support
- Adobe DNG
- text on a path
- larger filter preview
- Match color command
- Flash file export
- Histogram
- and YES the file browser (when you are mature enough to understand it)take a class bro!
