but when i want to open it in photoshop to save it as a nice jpg, it give me 200" by 4"
i made the crop mark, save it as an eps, checked the document setup,
everything is right, am i missing something?

someone gotta know whats the problem

view outlines in AI.
that is usually where i run into this problem. you might have a little random somethin-somethin waaaaaaaay off in the corner.'course that might not be it at all. it could just be gremlins. no shit man. i seen it before.

he's right, it could just be something stray on the page. also, if you have masked images, the placed images - not the mask sizes - determine the canvas size once rasterized.

so that means. even if i make crop marks it won`t give me the right size,
hmmm , i'm screwed

cropmarks in illustrator dont do anything other than indicate where it should be cut. they dont actually function when you save a file.
make sure everything is unlocked and unhidden, then Ctrl + A and see where your box stretches to. if it goes off your screen, then you've got something that is off of your immediate artboard (probably not the right terminology, but you get it)
so once you see where the box stretches, then you can go and delete whatever gremlin happens to be muching up your shit. following me?
or fuck it. just open your illustrator file in PS and crop it where you need it. then send the bastard off with no one the wiser. (as long as you dont need layers and objects that is.)
