might be nit picky, but i think you should use photos of ppl snowboarding. i think it would fit better, even though the guy is wearing a monument snowboard tshirt in every photo.

good idea. i'll snake some stills from our video.. i didn't even think about that

wierd, the text for textpilot is all caps, but for me it's not. pc/moz.
- monumentDave0
that is weird. it's supposed to be all lowercase (set in coldfusion)... i'll have to doublecheck that to see what is up...

nice bro
does it need some kinda footer on content pages ?
justa thought

or you could just add this in your css
text-transform: lowercase;

give the whole site some more space on the left.. it sits so tight to the leftside of my browser it is giving me claustrophobia.
other then that it is alright.

lookin good dave - a bit more space on the left might help like 4CY mentioned

sweet.
yeah it's only 569 pixels wide. the content stuff will be on there soon as well as the message board...i'll try centering it, but it'll look like open-online.org...
i really appreciate the feedback guys, if you see any other things keep posting..

Nice... but still needs something.
Not sure if this makes sense but it is too cold... and not in the good "snow board" cold. The gray to me is a bit played out and in this case looks a bit to boring.
The typography is all over the place. The date is nice & tight. Then the words "capitol board room" start getting spaced out, then "snowboard shop" get even more spaced out. Not to mention that it looks like you are using Helvetica & arial. Is that the case?
I would consider using colors that give an icy cold feel. Not a tech cold feel. Make sense? Also, I think we can move past the 640 x 480 space. Or maybe a scalable site that expands. Right now I get worried that my monitor is to large or that my res is to high. Might just be me.
The photography is ok, I would agree with more themed pics, but they are also a bit much for the "bland" feel of the site.
The site has potential but then again I am not sure what is going on in the background. Might be a reason why it is so simple.
Hope that helps and I would like to see it finished. When will this be the case? It seems pretty close now.
cheers!

hamering from Freshmode. sheesh. some valid points but not vital points.
I like it man!! I'd buy from it and that's what matters.

i agree it needs a little something. the photos are ok in my opinion, as long as they don't suck.

just launched it a couple minutes ago, i'm sure there will be a glitch here and there. but i'm just going for a nice and simple design (yeah, a little boring, maybe a little - too many core sites are too loud and obnoxious)...
but as long as people can use it, i'm happy. i've been running it for about 5 years now, and i need to start making money off of it sometime!
really do appreciate the feedback, i'm glad that i didn't get ripped into too bad! if you guys got more comments please keep them coming..
