what does it mean
i sent a t-shirt with 4 pantone colors and the people that were suppose to make the silk screen told me i needed to make them 2 color process
what does it mean, does someone has some faq about it

are they just making the screens or printing the shirts?

that means you can only use two colors, red and green, whatever pantones you choose. and you can use tints of those colors that overlap that can create a third color.
think of each color in its own "layer" if you will.
does that make sense?

if they are just doing the screens and not printing the designs then it shouldnt matter how many colors you have.

hmm i dont think youll want screens of a color on a tshirt... because the dots r gonan be big

they are just printing the screen not making the t-shirt
does anyone has a link where i can get the explanation

did you think to ask them what they meant?
I think bonseff has the answer.. what did you get quoted on?
- ebon0
why dont you ask them what they mean by it?
two color means that when you seperate the image you will have two plates, or screens, or films, that make up the two color image when printed.
if they are just making the screens i dont see why they would be telling you to make your four color image into a two color image.
so maybe they mean something different by "two color process".
