any of you ever been to a psychic? or a mindreader? one of my teachers in highschool said he went to one and she told him his guardian angel was an old lady who wore an apron and rubber her hands a lot (in a specific way, she showed us). he went home and told his mom and she said his grandma was a baker and rubber her hands a lot!

They are frauds. Plain and simple. Even if amazing coincidences happen, you should assume impossible things. Entertain your notions of her abiblities, but at least don't giver her any of your hard earned money.

I had a friend who went to one only to be told she was going to die in a crash on the way home. How messed is that? (She nervously made it home safe)

"I had a friend who went to one only to be told she was going to die in a crash on the way home."
i heard there was this code amongst these psychics to not tell about fatal incidents/diseases to the subject. Only indirectly.. to family etc.
also:
i have never visited one. i do not believe in it too much.
i do believe there's energy we(science) haven't mapped yet, and that certain people are more able to trace/read/feel it.

They all read the same books. I've gone to a few for fun, and they all tell me word for word the same thing 98% of the time. ..... fun to try if its cheap and your with friends....

I wouldn't give them a penny but if you make the mistake of patronzing known frauds that should be arrested, try it this way.
Dress in someone elses clothes (that fit-to be convincing). if you go with someone, go with someone you don't know that well. Let them judge you on superficial information that can't affect your future or indicate anything about your family and then see what they tell you.

there are the rare real deal psychics. seriously. ask around- the stories i've heard are mindblowing.
heard some amazing ghost stories too.
the 99% frauds deserve such skeptism though.

don't look to the stars for direction...
... look to the one who created the stars.

To quote Thelma from Scooby Doo, "There are no such things as ghosts."
One more thing: Before Europeans started exploring the world, they thought they had all the "evidence" in the world to believe that the world was flat.
I can't contribute to this thread anymore.
