What are your tricks to make small type clearer and sharper for Web usage, with Photoshop.
1. Kern letters
2. Drop opacity to 95%
3. Adjust Anti-AliasingWhat else? or Do you use the above...?
Just curious. :)

for web style...
font: arial, none(instead of crisp) and the smallest point size is 10.5
seems to work the best for me.

Anything less than 10pt should be on "None" - use fonts like Arial - nothing serif. I love using Mini 7, but it's a little overused nowadays. People who use tiny serif fonts make me chuckle in the sub-cockle region.

Yeah, lol. Don't do type in Photoshop. That's the answer. As for the 95% thing sounds like he's confused with flash. Where if animating type with any alpha fading, you shouldn't have it set on an absolute, like 0 or 100%.... thats what I've been learned at least jd style.

Dropping opacities in photoshop does help, when the antialiasing isn't none.
if you don't believe me you can eat 95% opaque shit. :)
