I have never even heard of APS. I worked in the school photo lab for a year to, so I will steer clear, I can just imagine the problems.

Those are the top rated 35mm Point and shoot cameras on that website. Fairly informative, no sample pictures though.

i think sample pics on the internet makes sense for digital cameras, not for analog ones

It is definitely easier for digital, but why wouldn't it make sense for sample pictures of analog cameras? I would like to see it. I guess some people aren't too handy with scanners though.

analog pictures:
exposure > development > print/negatifscan > printscan > jpg compression for web output > variable screen output.
too many parameters.
