did you ever ride those lifts man? Looked sketchy as fuck! I'm definately hitting berthoud this season in a big way - just need to hook up with people who know it well...I also need to climatise myself to the altitude this time because when I was over from the Uk last year - my second day at winter park I went up to vasquez and almost passed out from the altitude! hahahah!

i know exactly what you mean. when i first moved here over a year ago i went for a run and my ears almost burst. between that and the lungs almost bleeding i had to take it easy.
3 months later i was up to speed.

3 months huh? sheeyat! It was bad enough in denver when I was there skating last month - had to stop to catch my breath so many times...
I'm moving there around jan/feb time with my wife, from London. Be good to hook up if you're up for it.

Lived in mammoth for about 2 years, still have a few places to stay up there. Probably won't be going until there is some real snow though, maybe December.
