I just have not been in about three years now, used to go to Breckenridge a couple times each season, drive up with friends from Texas. I love Colorado and snowboarding is probably the best thing I've ever gotten to do in my life.
Memories of all my trips with friends in college are just priceless.I live in Chicago now, and I'm hoping to take my GF up to Wisconsin and teach her how to snowboard in the hopes that she likes it and we can plan a trip to CO some day.
Would love to ride out in California though.

i live in the colorado foothills. will take me less than an hour to get to mary jane where i can ride all day, every weekend.
not to rub it in or anything.

i wont wait til dec to go no, I just wont go far til then, im in SoCal, I'll hit up the local mtns first before that. I have a friend moving up to mammoth soon, i'll be there too for sure.

i expect it to be very sweet by next weekend. c'mon jevad.. bring the wifie and we can double date snowboard. it can be a fairly cheap weekend get away. its going to dump all week.. 12 inches already (just yesterday) + plus a few inches from days befre) we'll be above the treeline in some places by mid december for sure.
i think this season will be much better than the last.. but we were getting nice powder days well into march/april last year..

they closed berthoud, so mary jane has the right blend of proximity, good rides and minimal schmucks.
