Ok here are some concepts for an insurance company.
Their previous logo was LC Life Concept. The L was solid green and the C had those white scan lines. The client asked me to try and keep something from the previous logo.
Sugestions welcome.

I like the idea of the tree but the one you've used seems to cartoony.
I'd try some other typefaces. Stick with serifs but lighter weights...
Number 8 is a good start but needs work....

funny, i picked the numbers in my head, 2 or 6, and you guys picked similarly.
you should def. get a better leaf for 2. 6 is nice tho...i would try to see if you could make the font an bit thinner. it's too bold for me...

the leaf needs alot of work, you should spend a bunch of time just getting that right, then spend some time getting the right typeface, hopefully both together will make a great logo.
if you create a distinct mark from the leaf, it can be used as an independent element as well.

whipping up changes can't really result in a refined mark, you should spend a bunch of time getting it right, take the suggestions and got back and work through it

2 looks like a torch.
leaf needs more detail and refinement to make it look like a leaf. (like some ppl said)
