I was in New Braunfels earlier this year.
Everyone eats pie & watermelon and drinks ice tea. Anything with sugar... lots and lots of sugar. .

Gorbie-I love New Braunfels, been going there since I was seven. My family has land down there and several relatives have moved to that area.
Got to take my GF there over Easter, we flew down from Chicago to Dallas, and went to NB for a couple days.
If you know how Dallas is, you can imagine why I wanted to show her a beautiful part of the state that is worth bragging about, as opposed to the sea of strip malls and highways and concrete.Have you been to Gruene Hall? Been tubing on the river?
My dad has started fly fishing on the lower river and pretty soon I think that's all he's going to do with his time. :)

lots of memories with the guadalupe river. my best memory is my first time there...
we had this 3-man water balloon slingshot and we'd shoot people floating down the river... most were to drunk to care.... most... not all :)
