what if we used MS Word for all of our layout and then converted it to PDFs for printing and shit like that. How crazy would that be.

It shouldn't be too hard to parse the Word format styles and convert the documents to xhtml or xml. So if there is an editor the sales people are ready to use we should be able to accomodate that.

That's crazy. I thought you were suppost to make Webpages with MS word. There is an option to make it HTML. Also it adds about 150k worth of bullshit tags. Great for the beginner!

in that crazy mixed up world of yours, all print output would be at 72 dpi... and screen fonts would work perfectly on paper... by-jove I think you're on to something!
as for quark: post script and HTML don't mix... EVER!
