all of these posts are GREAT music, yet you can't just use them for commercial projects, he hee, yo man seriously that's laughable. :)

No, No, No guys,...i totally would not use these in commercial projects,..i'm talking about strictly my personal work, no money involved, not selling any products, or anything like that. Just looking for sounds to compliment some future projects i have coming down the pipe. And always giving credit to the artist's whose music i "borrowed"

To tell you the truth - no matter how much I listen to this music I still struggle to come up with anything better than "ambient" to describe it - without sounding like a wanker anyway. ;)
and yea - boards of canada are the SUPREMO shit!
tho I know these guys do film tunes....
Dunno if they'd write you music - but if the project was worth it and they got enough kudos.... - worth a go.

Quamb, I seem to remember you make some amazing music.
Rummy, check out http://www.hippocamp.net there's some great downbeat and even a little bit of (true) ambient on there. It's all free to download, if you like something just e-mail them and ask if you can use it. They should be alright with you.
