projector help!

dear people,
can someone please tell me how they use a projector for digital movies? i read some old threads and people seem to think 320x240 is enough of a resolution, but on my screen it looks really blurry, and when i use it through the projector, it looks terrible. further more, with my mac, the quicktime player keeps getting in my way! is there anyway to play it "full screen"? thanks so much for your help.

I'd look into using a different format.
Have you ever worked with SVCD? You can render to a full NTSC resolution and playback on your dvd player (computer or standalone), fullscreen nice.
DiVx is good for scaling too.
I have no idea if you have any of these things available on a Mac.

You should update your Quicktime player to QT Pro, its only $30 ...
I did something in 720x576 that had to be projected onto a wall approx. 170" x 120" and that was pretty sharp looking.
