I reckon they were thinknig of it being used in a lot more than print... and thats why it works/will work so well.

Nope, still not convinced, it looks fookin' awful on the website, I haven't seen it anywhere else yet but I can't imagine it being a lot better in print or on signage.
Wollf Olins did the PwC > Monday rebrand that lasted about a week didn't they? Not good.

its a clever approach, treating a bank as a more consumer oriented service (which it should be) rather than a stuck up institution (lloyds) creates trust and 'warmth' in people rather than the cliché "eek I have to see the scary bank manager"
This is a clever exercise in branding and not just "I dont like the typeface"
shame the site doesn't render properly on a mac though :(

I like the way they've approached the brand and their relationship with customers, it's just the logo that I can't stand.

I quite like it. It's brave and fresh. Although i don't like the tv ad much. It also means that if it works other banks might follow which means lots of work for people like us :)
Although i'm not much of a fan of the website i reckon it'd be quick on 56k. And it's dead easy to use. Which is probably important to attract non net savvy customers to use the online functions.

I can see that sign from my window.
I like the sign a lot but the green application of the identity on the site looks like a childcare centre. They've tried to go simplistic and friendly like egg but didn't get the online version right, in my opinion.

"we're disappearing with your money"

unprofessional.
almost as ill-conceived
as Wolf Olins' "Monday " brainchild (at least PwC only blew 110M £ for a campaign that lasted, what, 2weeks? ).

You people are fucking crazy.
Even if that was supposed to be a site for Teletubies, I would have fired the agency if they returned with a comp that even slightly resembled that.
absolute shit. (or maybe I'm completely missing the sarcasm)
