i'm so gay at javascript, but i'm trying to do something and it's going to involve me declaring a variable which includes a html file.. can this be done.
eg. var = such and such"
but i want the var to include a html file. so i can write it later.if anyone knows what i may be trying to do please holla

we might have a clearer idea of how to help you if you tell us what you're actually trying to do... like, end result.
based on what you've said, it sounds like you want a server-side scripting language, like PHP or ASP...
are you writing the "html file" to be parsed in the browser (eg: refresh the page and it changes to whatever you've defined in your variable?) or just what's the purpose of this "html file"?

i want to display a line of text (from a html file) in a javascript function that uses document.write.
so something like document.write include src=test.html
