Got a problem with OSX in that every time I startup or restart my G4 450 it boots up in millions of colours and reverts to 256 greys when it gets to the Finder. I have to change it back to millions of colours every single time. I've tried zapping the PRAM but nothing works.
I've also got a problem with Classic as it sometimes starts up (and runs) like this:
It started when I upgraded to 10.2.6 but still happens now I'm on 10.2.8. I have a feeling it has something to do with Suitcase as that's been at the heart of most of my Classic problems.
Oh yeah, and whenever I startup Quark 4.11, any fonts in documents are turned OFF by Suitcase and I have to go into Suitcase and activate them.
Anyone had any problems like this or is my poor little Macintosh in need of a reinstall?

Make an applescript that changes the colours for you, and then set it as a startup item. Don't ask me how though.

_ maybe install new driver sw for the graphic-board, that's where most of this problems come from. or try http://www.versiontracker.com/dy…
_ i don't know if you know it already, but for me, it is a little fairy for the os: http://www.macosxcocktail.com/ it does all the necessary stuff for maintenance
_ font problems with quark seem to be fixed in suitcase XI
