Well, I don't know. I liked Soundgarden and Rage, but don't love Audioslave that much. I'll hope for the best.

it's strange to me how people can like the same person in a band they started out with, and not when they get together with other talents.
musicans, like all artist, can't do the same thing forever. they like to change, try new things. bands fall apart, they get
together with other musicans. it is the nature of the music industry...it happens when more than one person are in a group... it is just hard to work with that many people at times.i don't think it means they couldn't make it or that they are spare parts.
i loved GNR and STP...lets see what these guys will do. i won't start hatin until i see and hear it for myself.
all of them are great performers live, it should be nice to see.

yeah, their first single appears on "The Hulk" soundtrack, check it out if you have not already, they should be able to give Audioslave a run for its money when the album comes out (and Scott doesn't get jailed for drugs)

veraicon, it shouldn't be strange to you... just as musicians need change, people have tastes.... plus the charisma and persona of one band is not always the same as the next even if its composed of some of the latter's pieces.... but yeah i think these guys have madd potential...

I guess i was thinking on thing and wrote another. what i meant to say is that it is strange how there is this pre-dislike of the band before they get a chance to really be heard. ya know?
like they are burnouts trying to make a comeback or something.
when in rality they might be better than anything they have ever done in the past.
I am actually pretty excited that they aren't wasting themselves away and not doing anything just because Axel isn't ( or so i heard )

and i totally agree on the prejudice issue.....BUT !!
i also believe that certain bands were just the right combination of people at the right time , better said:
there will never be another or better soundgarden or ratm..they were the perfect combo at that time and everything after just isn't as great..
i totally don't think that c.cornell fits the other guys of ratm.. it just doesnn't click for me..
but what i heard of this revolver thing - i like. =)

sounds much like slash's snakepit..but hey - i can't say anything bad about the man slash... he made me pick up the guitar...
and even if i rarely listen to this kinda music anymore .. you can't diss your roots, u know?
