Closest I got to Berthoud was driving past it to get to winter park mate!! so many people have told me it's great back country though - so when I get to denver in late january i am going to have to see for myself!
ride to live - live to ride....

lol...yea they used to have some cheap lifts there. they are all closed now.
winter park isn't bad, but if i go that way i prefer sticking with mary jane. much less of an "end destination" resort-like feel, which i hate. plus, what's not to like - its called "mary jane"!

Yeah I prefer MJ too - but Parsenn Bowl is my fav...after Vail's Blue Sky Basin! Copper is wicked too...
We should hook up when I get over if you're up for it dude - be good to meet some local designers with like passions...

most people say snowboarding is tough to learn and easy to master (opposite of skiing) but i don't really know yet. i am not very good and spend a lot of times doing push-ups to get myself off the snow after having a nice long ride. i think i'll get a lot more comfortable this season, though.
personally, i like it much better than skiing. perhaps i'll get sick of it in a few years, but so far i'm enjoying it :)
