i need to ride in my dreams right now since it is 3am, but real fast -
i love the aspens at Beaver Creek, though I rarely get out there ( i live in Boulder)
Vails huge and amazing, though I have mostly just hiked the east Vail shoots (which puts you way out on the highway so you have to hitch back), and some local rails, and not gotten to know the whole resorty areai ride Keystone and Breck alot, and know them the best, but also ride A-basin, and my local mtn - eldora too.
you know how it is...it could be only 2 inches and the best day if you're in the right mood with your friends
talk later when my eyes are open

If you get a chance demo a Rome snowboard (I got the the 03 n 04 anthem 161). If you like the burton custom, then you'll love the anthem. After all the boys at rome left burton to start there own companyu. And the board they designed at burton... the custom. I highly recommend them. Best boards i've ever ridden, Period. But demo first as always, your style might be different then mine.

I ride everything. I help run a snowboard program for kids, and most of the time I teach the park and freestyle side of it. So I am on rails, halfpipes, kickers, powder and groomers when I'm teachin'. But last time in breck I hardly touched the park, spent most of the time in the trees and hiking. So I really need a great all mountain board. I tried the Rome and was so impressed I actauly bought one for retail ( I convinced them to knock 20% off though). Then in march I got the 04 to test some changes for them. But, I've ridden a lot of boards and for some reason this one just feel right. But for sure demo whatever board you want to get if you can. Everyone I work with was impressed when I let them ride it. But like I said, josh left burton to start rome, and he designed the custom for the last 10 years or so.

i got my new board last friday and it was a toss up between a sweet rome board (with an awesome price! just wow!) and a gnu altered genetics... i ended up with the genetics and hopin' i made a good decision:-)

As long as you like it, and you get out and ride. In the end thats all that really matters. I spent so much time snowboarding in college. It was the best stress relief in the world. After a week of all-nighters a day full of snowboarding cleans the soul. It really does. Man, I can't wait now. Now I need to sell last years boots. Anyone want 03 burton drivers size 9? Let me know.
