How do you make these swoshing masks, example (when you change design)

use animated movieclip in your mask layer.

ahh sorry...
and use actionscript in thet movieclip to change design. Like when you have pictures on masked frames. Then you should use in that mask moviclip just gotoAndStop(whatever frame you choose) script.

In that case, it's not even a mask, just a grey shape tween covers everything, while the content changes on the frame when everything is covered.

I don't think you understand, i mean the the wave form transaction... I sure aint that good in actionscripting, but that must be the way to do it, anyone? you can see this on a lot of portfoliosites today, so it must me pretty easy...

Its a shaped tweened and made a mask.... it's kinda simple... its the fine tuning that can be a pain sometimes

like cybrainx said already, it's not even a mask. it's a grey shape being tweened.
you could do it with the drawing api, but why?
