Google has removed Kazaa from their site in response to legal threats from the RIAA!
Here is the text from google.
"In response to a complaint we received under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 10 result(s) from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaint for these removed results."

oops, yes, forgot to scroll down..
in Dutch:
"Dankzij een klacht van Digital Millennium Copyright Act, hebben we 8 resultaten verwijderd van deze pagina. Indien gewenst, kun je de DMCA klacht lezen voor deze verwijderde resultaten"

aren't we screaming too fast?

I hope to not be a rumor monger, but the Kazaa chats are claiming it to be Riaa. If I jumped the gun I apologize.
Feel free to delete this until further proof is found.
I heard it a few times today, checked a few places and posted.

Whats that old saying ... believe nothing you read and half of what you see.

Why else would Google censure itself? I'd bet the house on those infinite bastards as the cause.

according to the link 4cy provided...
http://www.chillingeffects.org/d…it looks like Kazaa informed Google that doing a search for Kazaa supplied links to items that infringe on Kazaa. No mention of RIAA (they're still bastards though).

hence the 15 missing links from the various search results pages.

haa haa Kazaa is doomed as in KazaaDoom!

So basically from now on we can see all the search results being censored and as soon as someone sees something they don't like (domain names or anything else) they find a lawyer write to search engines and prevent people from reaching those sites.....come on...wtf is happening here...now they are starting with search engines?!?! Why didn't this fooker lawyer sue these sites, no he threatened google...horrible..where is this internet going...

It's the DMCA. it's a horribly written piece of legislation that infringes on civil liberties most of us take for granted.
blame congress.
