I just bought myself a 17 inch powerbook and its my first mac since my G3 333 Powerbook, so I am fairly new to OSX.
I was wondering where the temporary internet files or cache's for safari or explorer are.

the cache for safari is in the users/(you)/library/cache foder. if you cant see it just do a search for safari and it should turn up. dont use ie much any more so not to sure bout that.

somethings are similar to OS 9, like some of IE's temp files are still in preferences in the users library.

hotroddy read what you wrote!
Your posts reads like a 1977 moustached grade three edu-ma-cated redneck. Insulting is an artform, and I guess you just don't get it. Spelling & Grammer, two things that would make your claims of mental impairment, look somewhat just.
Well done hotroddy, well done indeed. We'll decide from here who the "retard" might be.
thanks to the others who let me in on the carefully held mac secrets, and not starting yet another mac pc war. I think were all tired of it.

agreed. Mac vs PC threads are now relegated to the Yahoo forums or something.. any other site is just plain sick of 'em.

Well, said, Brundlefly. I'm tired of people posting insults are posting indifference.
