You'll be playing county guitar then, slide or steel?
Shit the bed!

They're all good, but stay away from the Jackson family.
- MrBixler0
The Jackson family can poke it! They're about as Hip Hop as my mum.

Er, I think there are quite a lot of good songs on that list. Whether thy are played well is another matter.
I'm surprised you don't know a few of them already. Quite a lot are cover band standards. I've played most of them in my time.
What is it? A function or pub?
- tomkat0
well...
i did say yes cuz it was for a friend and the money is ok (I'm pretty broke actually) - it's a pub and a *swallowing* weddingit's not a problem for me to learn the songs in the time -- they're all pretty easy..
it's more this coming-into-a-new environment .. they all know each other..
just wanted to know if the setlist was getting some good response. i do also think that these are quite good songs when played well..
thx for feedback so far

Cover bands are usually used to having deps. Thwere isn't really any interplay between the musicans, you just play y9ur part, make sure you're in tune and in time and i expect it'll be fine. Cover bands are usually pretty laid back and drink quite heavily as well. Have fun, i like those kind of gigs. Quite a laugh.
