an Nimbin an hour away : a smoking paradise !
- crapmeister0
tell me more about nimbin!
- corin0
all the pics were taken with this sick little benq dc1300, its a really cheap little camera with no LCD screen but it takes nice quality pics.
crapmeister:
Nimbin used to be the place to get weed in northern NSW south QLD, but then it became a nasty smack town full of maniacs, but evryone still loved it because as soon you entered town people would come up to your car and try and sell you cheap bushBuds... apparently things have changed a little since i was there, and to curb the smack problem some sort of psuedo smoking cafe has opened up...

Whoa!
Tres Jealous!
- CyBrainX0
Corin, how long did you record that time lapse before speeding it up?
- corin0
I actually just used the same benq camera i referred to earlier hooked up to the laptop with a little piece of freeware called pryme http://www.hilo.dk/pryme/ that let me take a shot every ten seconds, for what was probably just over 2 hours. Worked a treat and felt like doing real time lapse too :)

nice corin. be sure and go up to the light house for sunsets, i think thats just to the right of where your staying. also, the headland to your left is great surfing and on most afternoons the dolphins join the surfers and catch some waves. go down for a stroll round 3ish and your sure to see them.
im jelous even tho im holidaying in ireland now. Say hello to all the lovely swedish backpackers for me
- corin0
Said many hellos to many swedish back packers, watched the dolphins from the balcony a few times (we are directly in front of the light house (the beam emerges from the centre of our roof at night)), but my highlight so far (apart from the multiple sangria concotions) was seeing a humpback amongst the surfers.
- CyBrainX0
Figures, they don't develop for the Mac.
- corin0
Yes, its very short sighted to not develop humpbacks for macintosh

I'm back. Sigh...
