it was an action!
I KNOW how to use ps!
anyway, it's all over now. the problem was probably caused byu the differences in edited and non-edited digital camera files.
Next time I should use the exact same compression-rate as the original file, i think.

anyway, thx all.

sorry, had a pretty busy day and the non-constructive remark made by cinder did not help making me feel better either.
i appreciate help and constructive comments, like anyone here does.

We need a money tool so I can print out all the bills that would allow me to afford to upgrade every year...

compression rate shouldnt matter (at least in Image Ready), thats' the point of processing isnt it? :)

A design cliche filter plugin that reduces all my kerning automatically, adjusts by 12.5 degrees, and replaces carriage returns with underscores.

Hate to break to you all, but PShop 8 will be out-the-bag very soon [Nov-Dec], so maybe the title should be changed to "PShop 9 Wishlist".
PShop 8 will have the following features: NTSC/PAL/HD preview choices to compliment the existing CMYK Preview, a Histogram palette, nested layer sets, and text on a path. Photoshop 8 will also include "filter layers," allowing for non-destructive image editing and manipulations, similar to Adobe After Effects' adjustment layers.
And I also read somewhere about the ability of working with "non-square" pixels - what ever the F that means, anyone?

While we are on the topic of Adobe, why not some fresh Illustrator 11's screen shots?
Here: http://www.macgeneration.com/mgn…
Here's a summary (in English ;o) of the features

"And I also read somewhere about the ability of working with "non-square" pixels - what ever the F that means, anyone? "
thats pretty cool, no more re-sizing.
(television uses rectangle pixels, hence things can look stretched)

could be hexagon or octagons or whatever number of corners,
like some digital camera chips have 'em. (better interpolation i was told..)
- subSTANCE0
this may have been said already... as I didn't read the whole thread...
but I would like to see some multi-colored guide lines... I find too many situation when I am setting up guides.... and they are intended for seperate uses... but are all mixed up in that one same blue color... jesus... maybe you can change to different colors and I just don't know about it!

tv uses rectangular pixels?
where? I thought they used interlaced scan lines...or are you taling about in production... where equivalent (square) pixel size is like 800xsomething for PAL or NTSC?
- Creon0
Computer video uses rectangular pixels at 720x540, in most cases.
it is interlaced after rendering, (if the video footage was not already interlaced when it was shot) but while in production, it's in rect pixels. :P
- Creon0
oops: i meant it is 'de-interlaced' after rendering.
It's going to be a long morning.....

I think photoshop 8 should be the first ps to include sound effects for all the tools. The pen tool could go like 'wummm wummm wummm' and the laso tool could go like 'munna munna munna' and the crop tool can make the sound of the giant ants in 'Them". Shit like that.

page curl. no doubt more page curl filters.

short cut key for panels...such as the illusive tool panel that likes to disappear on me...or does that already exist?
