If you use Export for web you can skip that junk.Don't EVER, EVER use the 'save as' command for JPGs.
It makes MacOS thumbnails which can wreak havoc on windows if they are trying to view them on the web,plus, it's old and lame

I want the Image Ready web production workflow but with all the Photoshop capabilities...
I want to be able to open CMYK TIFs without having to first jump over to Photoshop , convert mode to RGB, and back again to continue with my Image Ready Actions n stuff...

cy...you realize you can save your finger by making an action for what you want to do and then do a batch from that...right?
other day i converted over 100 .eps files to .jpg...all while making dinner.
