This is a very simple site for a realestate management company, but anyone see anything glaringly ugly about it yet?

Hi Keh...the top bar makes me feel like I need glasses. It looks a little blurry to me. The company name could be cleaner...can you split that image and make the left side a gif?
Another thing is that I find the navigation a little hard to read.
If its a realtor can't you spice it up a bit with more imagery? Maybe in the current projects..highlight with some imagery? Seems like maybe you could do a little more to spice it up.

monkeyshine,
thanks for the feedback. I plan to spice up the backpages much, and the frontpage a bit more...i haven't even talked to these people, i was just handed the contract and sort of had to figure otu from the contract even what it i sthat this company does...so i'm trying to be rather non-specific at start time.
for instance, they aren't a realtor, but rather a property management company - i think. anyway, I most definitely will split up the left side and make it into a gif, thanks for that.
what abotu the navigation makes it hard to read? the rollovers, or just it is hard to read already?

Agree with monkeyshine.
The navigation is too small and those titles need to be sharper.

I've sharpened up the links now...how is this?

2nd round no better. Overall, your type on the site is weak.
you have the appearance of 4 faces already, just becoming disparate and extremely poorly rendered. I would advise you to try and find a standard to your typography, something consistent but with flexibility. As you are using a serif face, the possibilities of expansive type families is large. pick something and stick to it, and then focus on the heirarchy through, size, color, composition.

In the nav the text is not real clear... looks kinda blurry.. like the S in US is not even readable.
I think the top color kinda clashes with your color scheme.
