all the details are up at http:www.burton.com
all the riders chose the designer, the 158 was by struggle-inc. you can read about them on the site though.
there's a large image here: http://store1.yimg.com/I/1-888-s…

specs for that are nice - not into those graphics at all though!

i hear ya guy...i just finished 2 days of shooting all new gear for the season...boards, boots, bindings and outerwear and i'll i've been working on for the past few weeks at work here is all for the mtn...which by the way is fuckin raped...i haven't seen it that bare in a longtime!
also working on the fourstar canada site which is home to forum, special blend, jeenyus and foursquare.
so yeah...pretty much have snowboarding and nothing else in ind at the moment...bout 3 months till we ride up in here in whistler...bring the snow!!!

i like those graphics too, buts its the 154, so its too small for me.
my liking for the 158 graphics seems to change everyday, right now i'm liking it. but i'm going for the board more than anything(i tried the demo and loved it).
the new dominant graphics are kinda nice, the 'custom x' too.

cdr dave...
peter lines method of that fuckin huge 1/4 at the opening of stomping grounds still blows my mind to this day!
suprised none of the creative people here choose Vivid as one of their fave movies of last year...for shear cinematography, creative angles and killer soundtrack pick it up...hostenyks films kick ass! not to mention Romain De Marchi's part is one of the sickest of last year...dude used to be my neighbour.

tryin my luck on new forum elite 165 this season...never ridden forum before but i've heard their decks have come along way...have to retire my bmc 168 after the early rock riding season is over here due to a lovely 6" - 2" wide core shot...ooh yeah.

I don't know - simple...minimal...don't like busy graphics on my board....

I'm possibly heading to Banff to go snowboarding around late jan early feb. Is there still plenty of ski season left around that time?? Probably staying there for a couple of months and i want to snowboard 24/7.

agentfour...you will have plenty of snow for that time of year...last time I was in Banff it was in April and we had like 30cms of fresh pow.
But why Banff?...Lake Louise and Sunshine are their best resorts and they blow...serious man...they may have some nice dry snow cuz of the elevation but the terrain really sucks...lots of flats and shit. If you want some real terrain head further into the interior of BC...like Kicking Horse or Fernie...small areas and resorts but amazing snow and terrain...or you could keep heading west to Whistler for the best terrain on the westcoast...its not luck that Whistler Blackcomb has been rated the #1 resort in N. America for like the last 4 years...and their park usually rates second only to pretty much the best park around at Mammoth.

Thanks for that 2cent. The main reason why we are heading to banff is because we have a great friend to stay with there who can hook us up with jobs, snowboarding and generally good times! I've never been snowboarding b4 (cos it dusnt snow where i live) so hopefully banff will be good fun for a first timer.
I cant wait!! hehe.

rode a ride jrff brushie for 2 years...loved the thing...wicked sidecut for super responsive turns...nice flex and for 161 it rode like it was a lot bigger than that.
unfortunately it fell victim to an edge blow out...mtn here just chews up boards. if i was buying my board this year i would be looking in this range...nitro, rossignol, burton or prior.

pow pow.
i wanna get a faster board.. im riding a burton troop 153..
anyone have any suggestions for the womens?
i have forum bindings im not using.. how are forum boards?

my buddy is on the forum team...so his opinion is a bit one sided...gonna be riding the forum elite 165 this season...glad they ditched that gay slider inserts on this model.
shellie if you want a faster board you're gonna have to buy better than the troop...troop is like mid range board so the base aint all good...if you're looking in burton i would suggest...

maybe i'll pick that up if i get this new contract.
i know when im pointing straight down the mountain and i bomb down.. i cant keep up with my guy friends most of the time. theres really nothing else i can do to go faster.. so it has to be that my current board sucks.
i dont really know much about what makes some boards better than others.. i know burton uses classic angles... other brands have crazy shit going on,. but i dont know what they all do.
i want my troop to be my *shitty board* when i ride in so cal. at bear and mt.high i always manage to tear it up. :/

If you guys ever get a chance to try a Rome board, try it. I started with an 03' anthem 161 and have been riding the 04' anthem 161 since march. All I can say is Wow. I've ridden over 50 different boards in the past few years (trading with friends) and my 04' Rome is still my favorite.
Damn you guys, now I have the itch to ride.

I never realized how small big bear was, is the riding and snow there any good shellie?
