What do they make the train tracks from here in the UK? I'm failing to understand why they're buckling in the heat, surely iron doesn't go soft at 35c does it? Useless.

I just got back from the south of France, didn't notice any melting tracks, roads, babies or lollies but maybe they just don't bother mentioning it as it's not considered news over there.
