been there many times, can't say that I've checked out many design firms there. Las Ramblas always has something going on near the harbor.

This may sound cheesy, but the tour buses round the city are useful...you can jump on and off all day.
Off the bottom of Las Ramblas there's a bar called El Bosc de les Fades (Forest of the Fairies) which is full of fake trees and a waterfall and laterns.
See La Sagrada Familia and go up inside the towers...man, there's so much to see!
