no you guys are just stuck in the past with the so called legends. I wont pull the age card because that always seems to be a good case for winning an argument. They added something to skating, so what? Kids with big pants saying yo was early 90s when small wheels and rave pants were in and skating was in its low point. Then there was a case when looking back towards the predecessors seemed like skating had changed for the worse.
But now, the kids throwing themsevles down the rails are changing the sport for the better. Style and grace is nothing without progression and things getting bigger. No more lazy pros.

Obviously this has gotten out of hand. I am saying the merits of a so-called legend in skating, sometimes transcend the actual skating. Thats when it bleeds into more of what I think you guys are talking about, lifestyle, culture, art etc..
But on the case of actual skating and the physical progression of the sport, in my humble opinion cab is somewhat "so-called". But on the other front, which is possibly more important you guys are right. I just think there is a bit of confusion.
