i read in an old Transworld interview with Cab, that if he had his neck straightened when he was a kid there was a chance he may not be able to skate again...
i've still got my Bones Brigade 1990 World Tour sew-on patch.
might have to get a grey vinyl jacket and put it back on..

cab is sweet but its about progression. I mean the top level of skating in the 80s is below mediocore at this point. I am not saying count steps and degrees but the fact that there is still an emphasis on style when going for tricks not even imagined by people like cab,gator,(even vallely), says much more about skating now than then. it is interesting now cause u got 10000 little kids throwing themselves down stairs and a handful of pros hanging around for top spot, shits blowing up cause everyone is afraid of losing their job to a fearless adolescent. Kind of like design now :D thats all I got.

there is a huge explosion of little kids throwing themselves off steps and doing the biggest handrails.
but it won't stand the test of time. only style will and what you've contributed to skating.
cab has both. legends never die.
