I just spoke with her. I basically said that when we've gone out, I've had great time. But I can't keep chasing you around competing with your schedule.

fawning over some girl ain't gonna cut it. From my experience Girls don't like dudes that fawn over them or try to pressure them into dating. Guys don't like it either.
I have a couple girls that fawn over me and I get turned off by it and these girlies are fine too! What's the deal? We all enjoy the chase. This girl enjoys having schleps fawn over her. I'm guessing you are not the only one.
And I'm guessing that you have gravely misinterpreted "dating" with "hanging out"

oh no an introduction from your ex-girl's mother? that's not bad... but it depends on how you played it all out. dating girls is like the free market supply and demand.
you've over supplied yourself and she's got a lot of demand for her... you don't seem to have much to offer her by definition because you've dropped to the level of begging... just close out the account and maybe run into her at a party when she's drunk.
