somewhat related but not:
a week ago i walked out of our building in a somewhat really pissy mood. i happened to look up and some large guy looked like he was trying desperately to hit on some girl as she walked by, it upset me a bit and i kept my eye on him just in case he were to get really annoying i'd tell him to backoff or whatever. as i got closer and herd the convo i realized the idiot was from greenpeace and was hassling her in a totally different way.
he finally eyeballs me and says in this real snooty, a-hole pompous sort of way "YOU WANT TO SAVE THE PLANET RIGHT?"
ok first off what am i supposed to say? "no, i want me and everyone on it to die." i mean wtf. its' like saying "you hate pollution right?" OF COURSE WE DO, WTF KIND OF A QUESTION IS THAT?!?
ok anyways, so he asks "YOU WANT TO SAVE THE PLANET RIGHT?" and being in my bad mood i fired back "yeah, so stop eating all of it fat ass." and kept on walking. i'm sure he wasn't expecting it and everyone around started dying laughing. i felt bad for a second then remembered he's with greenpeace so i didn't feel bad anymore.
god they are an insufferable bunch of c*nts.

My dad's wife is a semi-militant vegan and a peta nut, so I have to deal with this every now and again. i regard them the same as I do religious nuts - people so convinced of their own system of belief and morality, that any rational notion or evidence suggesting the contrary is not only unthinkable, it's incendiary.
