learn how to seperate life and work.
We all need to remember that our passion isn't someone else's. It is ours. You don't have to lose creativity just cause you are married.
I have been married for almost 3 years now. I think it has helped improve my level of design and allows me to view things from a "non-designer" perspective.
Learn to love your girl for what and who she is chief. You guys are married. No one will ever be able to dictate your relationship besides the both of you. You need to realize that you have already impressed one person enough to decide on spending the rest of their life with you. Enjoy.
Now lets go see Oprah and eat bon bons...

elbow,
im not comparing myself to any genious or criminals, the point of the research is to find out if marriage will kill creativity.. who else has more creativity than those who had done something significant in the world.. anyway, the point was that somehow in someway, marriage will effect and 'tame' creativity... i felt the different vibe of being single and married already...
"i think marriage and your wife should inspire you to think about things that you've never thought before... "
ya, money, family, not to mention time. where otherwise when your single, you got plenty of time
but other than that, i know what you mean.....in the end its really just a mind game huh...

i hear ya man, it's true. only recently have i been thinking about this. i would have never even considered looking at this thread.
Along with kids, money, and time, should come clarity. Meaning that you have met the person who will walk the earth with you, no matter what. This is what it's all about, you and your partener being one and growing, learning and becoming better, fitter, and happier people.
heh sorry for the radiohead there at the end! =)
- snocat0
heh
reminds me...
i should listen to radiohead - optimistic more often...

I think you're looking at the wrong end of the spectrum here.
Your marraige should be far more important then your "creativity", so many more important things in life than getting linked in the NTB, ya know?
You are the only thing preventing yourself from doing anything.
Allow your woman to inspire you, not strangle you.

thanks all...
let see how long i could go before i loose control again...

divorce do it, whatever makes you happy.

what if you don't have any creativity to begin with? like me.

You should try to impress yourself first...
...then the girls.
That way marriage shouldn't really hamper the flow of creativity.

Marriage does affect my creativity.
I can't find a creative way to stop my belly from emerging after I got married.
- pr20
yeah, they might be married and uncreative, but just think of this, they can get laid any time they want. You have any idea whene was the last time i had sex?
- ********0
yeah if I get married then what it will take the little bit of creativity I have left and suck it dry
