child birth is the most creative act, wouldn't you say,,.,,if you believe in that sort of thing?
- renascent0
its an act of nature ;)
i gues it all depends were you draw you inspirations from, what drives and motivates you... blaming it on your marriage, is basically admitting that your marriage isnt working out...

but creativity that is not an act of nature, but rather forced, is not creativity just too much force being exerted,,,,,tiring. Creativity should really come easy like baby making.

thank you all!!
this forum and your messges helped me clearify things a bit and fed me some motivation and inspiration
newstoday should be a paid service, bunch of creative professional helping you solve a problem.....better than 1 therapist that costs thousands..

People have been marrying and bringing up children for centuries now. Nothing has ever come of it.

prostitutes.

so therefore forced creativity is usually dull and un-inspiring?
after marriage, my motivation to create was the mood to "get things done" or i need to create because im falling behind kinda feel...or even 'need money, so create!'
or is it really during the 'creative environment(in a program)' that you start to be creative that makes the difference?.... rather than the starting motivation to be creative?

i've also felt this for quite some time, even with people who are in serious relationships, whether or not the physiological effect is there, the amount of time, money and thought that goes into being in a serious relationship must make it hard to be productive beyond your 9-5 job, and most people's good work comes from outside their day job..

but, then again, if you are into being in a relationship....sometimes certain creative endeavours fall off like 'dead skin', but it's always important to keep creating and, more importantly, thinking analytically.

for me I'm most creative through limitations. Either in time or other more physical constrains. If you have too big of a plate you get lost in it and then all the little neurosis come out and plague you. All thiose voices that then fuck you rather than help you. At that point either tough it out, or come back when your not so worried about them any more.

Indeed Mr Kearns. A persons "Edge" is vital to creativity.

not just any sex, but CREATIVE sex!
- Bio0
creative though it may be, sex with dead hermaphroditic animal innards is frowned by the general public.

what a bunch of crap that article. you are comparing yourself to genous' and criminals? i don't get it?
what if you marry someone who challenges you to create things that you've never created before. you think your wife will drain you? i think marriage and your wife should inspire you to think about things that you've never thought before...
it's a different ball game, and if you don't know how to play than go get your big league chew and hit the dugout.
