It is a very broad range job with a large Sacramento printer. I will be working on various things from design of publications, magazines, newsletters, marketing presentations... they are also going to train me in the art of pre-press. So I'll be learning a lot, which I like.
I'm stoked. :)

Anyone looking for a print design job in the Sacramento area? I can't say much in the way salary, but I can tell you it's for a small, full-service marketing firm, in Auburn (30 minute commute from Sacto). 2 other designers here, easy, relaxed working environment, plenty of work to do.

i was let go.
they have issues with a printing company trying to take on agency quality output.
in the end the owner of the company just plain said that he can't sell design. It's not always a calculated, methodic process like printing, bindery, shipping.
