I was just in Whistler Village when they made the announcement. Everyone is stoked. Now everyone is going to be scrambling to make money off the Olympics and buying up all the real estate. Including myself.

well the bid was 34 million dollars.
its just alot of money with the lack of funding to health and education these days.
especially when alberta has the full infastructure to host the event.

Ya, now I will never be able to afford a house. The olympics are so gay. I guess figure skating spandex makes some of you hot. I can't wait till for my taxes to pay for new sports like "Kite Flying." Vancouver is the best City in the world. Now it can be the most expensive.

might be camping in tofino this weekend although that isn't for sure yet...having a hard time finding a place to camp...everything seems booked.
any suggestions sherm?...being on the island and all.

have you been to tofino before?
check out some surfing (go to storm) maybe check out the hotspring (might be kind of busy but worth it) definatly do some hiking, chilling, mushrooms?, skimboarding? so much to do, but its also good for doing nothing at all.im getting to town on friday night. i think we are staying at the pan-pacific. going to be a good time!
