Anyone seen this movie? Was thinking about buying it on dvd, is it worth it?

If your British, yes.

rent it...
then buy it if you still wanna...

haven't seen it ...
do a search here, I think this thread's been here before

Thought the film was ok, quite eerie seeing London void of life and there are a couple of shit-your-pants moments. Deleted scenes are crap. If you can get it for less than £15 it'd be a bargain.

worth buying...

going to see it tonight...how long ago was it released in the UK?
- chubba0
a month or 2... not long

Bought Once Upon A Time in Amercica instead.

It was very very good. Scary as hell, not only because of what you see, but also what it says about humanity.
If you can get over the lame product shots for pepsi and chocolate, you will be left with a wet seat....
see it. then think about it.

great choice Hypo!
one of my fav deNiromoviesDidn't like '28 days later' alot

that first-6-minutes trailer was soooooo bad, i know i'll never see this movie.

I liked it a lot. Reminiscent of Resident evil minus all the hollywood vfx kungfu nonsense.
Original it ain't, but very nicely executed. I loved the visual style and I loved how (SPOILER) the biggest monsters turned out to be the humans themselves.

yup starts great but then it flushes down the toilet

I found it to be an excellent movie. So many different angles to approach it from.

Just saw it. pretty scary, although not entirely original in concept.
The DV picture quality really added a nightmarish quality. At times it looked a little like they were using the "pantyhose over the lens" effect.
I also expected a little better picture quality from the Canon XL1...kind of glad that it wasn't too "nice"...it wouldn't have been the same
interesting ideas, Military turning on itself, etc...

I thought it was good... Saw it yesterday, came out of the theatre a little jittery. It's definitely a thinky movie.
the comparison to resident evil shouldn't be made... aside from the ombies and a few other similarities (waking from a coma)
those two movies are WORLDS apart.
I especially like the fact that it was all shot on digital... gave a feeling like the grainy low-tech film quality from night of the living dead, et al. especially the country road scene with the taxi... for those who have seen it.
I could ask for more from it, but all in all it was good and worth a watch.

Saw it today, was a bit creeped. The army scene was a bit unexpectedly twisted. Great film. I would buy it. Send me a copy too. thanks
