i never seen the movie but i had watched the trailer... dem creepy dude... it's another one of those science-fiction-creepy-no-sense... unique...wonder if we wake up, there is no one around us... *sigh...* just a movie. Hope it will show here in Asia.

start of the movie is london coolness, but the rest is a little wank, I'd watch it for the beginging. I suppose at least its a bit different in stlye than your average scary film at the moment. Does have a couple of cool tower block bits at the begining, which i like.

saw it 2 nights ago... i liked it a lot, but i'm not sure if its worth buying... perhaps if you cant see it in the theatres. as much as i liked it, i'm not exactly dying to see it again. then again, for someone with a decent income, perhaps its a nice addition to the library.

Its worth it just for the part where he's walking around a deserted London with Godspeed You Black Emperor as the soundtrack.

saw it last night and i think this is the movie resident evil should have been... but with hollywood at the helm, that'll never happen.
at any rate, i'll be the first to say, the first 10 minutes were the most boring for me, but as the movie progressed, i got more into it.
i loved the grainyness of the film and the washed out colors... i felt like i was watching a low budget horror film from the seventies with some decent effects.
wasn't really scary... creepy is more like it... and it did make you think, as it was really surreal.

Saw it this weekend. Was pretty good but had room for imrovement, for one the storey could have developed alot more what a waste, some british landmarks could have been used , big ben, london bridge, imagine getting chased by the zombies on the london eye. Apart from the ending also being totally gay it was a great film. Reminded me alot od Omega man and The Night of the Comet.

---Just watched the movie last night for the first time. Really good I think and realistically frightening, save for zombies, but intense to think of a worldwide epidemic of that sort.
And the scene at the end with the fighter jet and the HELP spelled out on the grass and the very emotive music was one of the most poetic and breathtaking scenes I've seen in a movie in years.
Just kept watching it over and over.

Its a good movie, the extras on the DVD are pretty shit though. Especially the deleted scenes, which are a pooey shade of brown.
I bought it ex rental for a tenner. Bargain!
It is a shame that its basically a rip off of Day of the Triffids and Romeros zombie trilogy.

Oh and Amityville Horror is the biggest pile of shite. Nearly as bad as Brotherhood of the Wolf.

I've heard of Day of the Triffids, might have read some of it.
I'll check it out.

Loved it better than the ring and the massacre the texas chainsaw movie (2003). Resident evil is putrid shite (doesn't bode well for aliens vs predator).
I'd say the best horror in the past five years even if it's not original.

I'm with you there warland.
I saw Chainsaw, and while it kind of made you jump a bit, and there have been some pretty heinous crimes in the world, it's not realistic to imaginet that happening to you.
But I was really into 28 Days because it's relevant to modern times-like a biological weapon release, or some killer virus breaking out in a major city.
And the part where the girls are basically being told, "We're going to have sex with you" I thought that was kind of lame, but then you think that they're the only women those men have seen and they fear for their lives and want to get back to normal.
