How exactley is it spirtitual? What spirits is it conjuring? My guess is that, if the festival is drug, booz, free sex, fire, debauchery and hedenism based, then the spirits arent the nice kind.
The fact that people think of that as a positive Sprittual experience, is ignorant.

There most definately is a lot of drug use and drinking. It's up to you to participate. AThere's plenty of people who don't.
I was talking about the art, not the drugs. I worked for 8 months on an art car, sacrifieced time, money and countless hours worth of energy on it.
It was spiritual seeing how incredibly artistic EVERY SINGLE human being is, and when they choose to express that creativity (as many do at BMan) it is an incredible, awe-inspiring thing to witness.
People are beautiful, and if you doubt that visit BMan.

I see your point Agency, at least aobut the beauty of creativity, and how it is diverse from indivdual to individual. I think that is a remarkable thing as well.
However, i just dont understand this "Spirtitual" thing you keep throwing around, like the word means nice or something. To say that it is spiritual, is to say that it included spirits of some kind or another.

Yes I do understand what you're saying.
When I went to BMan, it was the first time I fully comprehended the complete beauty that humans could create, any human whatsoever.
I'm not throwing spiritual around, that was a deeply moving, spiritual experience for me.
If you need "spirits", then beauty, love, creation and harmony were the spirits.

and hell, any time there is a large gathering of people who want to smile and be nice n shit, then i am down with that.

Sure, i think plenty of things can cause a Spiritual experience. I am just saying that this spiritual interaction between you, and whatever spirits you are experiencing may not necessarily be a healthy one. It may taste as sweet as sugar, but you may be openging yourself up to something that is dangerous as Hell.
