Little Flash problem

right - lets start again -
it's a gif imported into flash, make sure it has not been resized (which you said it hasn't) next - make sure it is squarely on a pixel - ie, not positioned at X0.1 and Y0.2, ensure anything you place on the stage of flash is positioned at whole numbers.. fonts will appear cleaner and lines sharp.. this may have an effect on your gif.. maybe.

are you saving for web in PS then importing into flash?

i have the 'end all problems' solution for this one.. draw it all in vector in flash. no more problems.

yes recpos, actually that's what I'm thinking I'm going to do, tried starting it again, made sure the images where placed in "whole numbers" but still have the same problem.
I didn't want to start all over again, but what the heel, I'm wasting more time this way...

Got it!!!!! oyu know when the distortion hapens? when I convert the image to symbol.... but why? i don't know

what type of symbol?
movie clip? graphic?are you scaling the symbol?
does it have to be a .gif?are you doing anything else besides importing and converting it to a symbol?

tried everthing: movie, button and graphic.
Also tried saving the image as jpg, but happens the same thing.
Never scaled anything and no, didn't do anything besides importing and converting to symbol....
I have no lcue whats going on and I hate when that happens

as I said, I could let it go, and do it all in flash.... but I don't like when I can't make the computer do what I want to.
