Im a grad. Feb. 2001
What I learned there was able to put me in the area of work I wanted to get into. Web & CD Rom Development. If you are passionate about your field of work, be it Audio Engineering, 3D Modeling, Show Production, Game Design WHatever. Fullsail is a great place to start.
However, it is very expensive. And only pays for itself if you actually excel in what you do and give yourself the oppurtunity to find a high paying job. I still have not found my high paying job, but my parents help me with the loans & my uncle payed for my Apt. in school. Do not work while your in school, spend every waking moment playing with your computer and use every piece of technology put at your fingertips while your there for as long as you can. stay after class, etc....

BTW if you live in Orlando you can audit classes afterwards. I have audited a few. Atleast that is what they told us when I was there. I could go back tomorrow and sign up for a new class in the Digital Media course and take it alongside current students if room is available. Sometimes lab space is scarce

I have not obtained a job yet with my BS degree I recieved form Fullsial, I can only say, that if I did not go I would not be doing what I love to do. I also know alot of people who are not doing shit with their education. So only do it if you know you can give it 150%
I help run a small design & hosting Company, times are ruff but I figure if I just keep doing what I love to do, everything will work out alright. I did not know shit about design or computers in general before I went, I just knew I wanted to learn Design and Graphics. I never thought about Databases & Information technology the way I do now. Fullsail just set me in the right direction and I met some really cool people there. I still visit my teachers and the school as often as I can and I like meeting new FullSail kids, very talented people for the most part. Lots of Animation, Audio, Video, Gamers.

i am a february '03 graduate of the digital media program at full sail. its actually an associate of science, not a bachelor - but still very much worth it. i absolutely loved my education there, which is good considering i already had one degree (in print design) before i attended - so needless to say my expectations were high. they have great people teaching there and you learn alot. sometimes, i think it may even be TOO much squeezed into 15 months - but i would rather be taught more than less.
and yes, the rumors are true - it is very pricey. the digital media program is 15 months long and costs around $37,500 - but this is all inclusive... you dont have to pay for your textbooks or lab fees or anything like that. the schedule is pretty grueling, too... i was averaging around 60 hrs a week for my last three months in school. since the school is 24 hrs a day, you will have labs at 1am / 5am - saturdays, sundays, holidays... it doesnt matter. they work you into the ground, but its worth it (in my opinion).
the place is overflowing with talented people (students AND teachers) and the school is all about teaching you how to network with other people. also very modern campus with good equipment (most of the time... heheh).
i know the hefty price tag keeps alot of people away, but i really think its a great choice for anyone.

You guys keep calling this a BS degree. Are you sure? I've never heard of a one year program (or any at a trade school) crediting a bachaelors degree. Associates degree maybe?

It's a very interesting school tho.
With skilled tutors from the 'real' world.
Does anyone know of a similar school in Europe?

4cy - I think that 'guy' explaining how to use the site is pretty useful...especially as it will probably be a lot of parents checking the site - who will not be as 'down with de flash' as we hip young web nerds are!
: )
